The Truth or Dare Wheel runs the classic party game for you. Spin to decide between Truth and Dare — with a Player’s choice and a Double dare slice to keep things interesting — then switch to the Truths or Dares list and spin again for the challenge itself. Every list on this page is family-friendly; replace them with your own to suit your group.

How to use the Truth or Dare Wheel

  1. Sit in a circle and pick who goes first — or spin the name picker to decide.
  2. Spin the wheel: Truth, Dare, Player’s choice or Double dare.
  3. Choose the Truths or Dares quick list and spin again for the question or the dare.
  4. Answer honestly or complete the dare, then pass the turn to the left.

House rules that keep it fun

  • Anyone can pass. Agree up front that a player can skip a question or a dare — maybe in exchange for a forfeit like singing a line of a song.
  • Keep it kind. No dares that are dangerous, cost money or embarrass someone who isn’t playing.
  • Double dare means the player does a dare and picks someone to do it with them.
  • Player’s choice lets the player decide between truth and dare.

Write your own truths and dares

Type your group’s questions and dares into the entry box, one per line. Long lines are fine: the wheel shrinks the text to fit, and the magnifier shows the full slice when there are lots of entries. Use Save to keep your custom list as a file, or Share to send it to the other players’ phones.

Frequently asked questions

How does the truth or dare wheel work?

Spin once to land on Truth, Dare, Player’s choice or Double dare. Then pick the Truths or Dares list and spin again for the actual question or dare.

Are the questions appropriate for kids?

Yes. The 20 truths and 20 dares included are family-friendly. You can replace them with your own questions for older groups.

Can I add my own dares?

Yes. Type them in the entry box, one per line, and the wheel updates instantly. Save the list as a file or share it as a link.

How many people do you need to play?

Three or more is best, but two players can take turns. There is no upper limit — large groups can play in teams.
